How much do hoarding panels cost?

A single 8x4 ft printed hoarding panel costs £85–£250 depending on material — correx for short-term jobs, foamex for 12–24 months, aluminium composite for long-running projects. Full perimeter hoarding for a typical development runs £1,500–£8,000 supplied and installed. Send your site dimensions, how long the site will run and what you want on the panels, and we'll quote within a working day.

Which material should I choose: correx, foamex or aluminium composite?

Match the material to how long the hoarding stays up. Correx (corrugated plastic) is the cheapest and right for jobs under six months. Foamex (foamed PVC) holds up for 12–24 months and looks better up close. Aluminium composite (Dibond, Alupanel) is the premium option — five-plus years outdoors, no warping or fade. For developments where the hoarding is selling the site, we usually recommend aluminium composite.

How quickly can you turn hoarding around?

Most hoarding orders are designed, printed and ready to install within five to ten working days from artwork sign-off. Tight programmes — a planning condition deadline, a project launch, a hoarding that has to be up before the scaffolding — tell us upfront and we'll prioritise. Same-week turnaround is possible on standard sizes if the artwork is print-ready.

Do you install or just supply the panels?

Both — we supply print-only for clients with their own install team (a good option if your site already has carpenters and a fence-fixing crew), and we install the full set for clients who want a turnkey package. On-site fit includes panel fixings, batten work where needed, sealant on the joints, and trip-hazard checks around public footways.

Do I need planning permission for hoarding?

Usually no — most construction hoarding falls within permitted development as temporary signage. Exceptions: hoarding over a certain size, illuminated hoarding, hoarding on listed buildings or in conservation areas, and hoarding that stays up beyond the construction period. We'll look at your site and flag if planning consent might be needed before we print anything.

Can you remove or refresh hoarding mid-project?

Yes — refresh and replacement is normal on long-running developments. Phase-one branding gets swapped for phase-two; a development sells out and 'coming soon' becomes 'now selling'; new safety messaging gets added mid-build. Aluminium composite panels can be reprinted or overlaid; foamex and correx panels are usually replaced. Removal at the end of the job is included when you booked install with us.
