Brand your fleet with professionally designed plant machinery graphics. At V Signs, we design and fit graphics, asset numbers and safety markings on excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, tractors and groundscare plant — for hire fleets, contractors and crews who need machines that look the part and meet site rules.
Plant graphics live a harder life than van graphics — daily jet-washing, hydraulic oil, mud and abrasion. We use heavy-duty vinyl rated for site conditions, applied to painted cabs, chassis panels and engine covers, with reflective hi-vis for low-light or night-shift work.
We've branded plant for landscape, groundworks and hire fleets across Petersfield, Farnham, Woking, Winchester, Godalming, and Central London — fitted on-site so machines stay on the job.
Every project runs in-house — design, print and fit — so the artwork sits straight, colours match your brand, and the finish lasts.

Good to know
How much do plant machinery graphics cost?
Plant machinery graphics run between £180 for a basic cab decal set and £1,200 for full fleet branding plus asset numbers and safety markings on a single machine. Multi-machine fleets get scale pricing — the second and third machines cost less than the first. Send your machine list and what you need, and we'll quote within a working day.
Will the graphics stick to a dirty plant cab?
Not without prep — but yes, after we clean and degrease. Plant cabs and panels carry oil, hydraulic mist, mud and old adhesive residue that vinyl won't stick to. We arrive with the cleaning kit and prep the surface before any vinyl goes on, which is part of the on-site fit and built into the price.
How long do plant machinery graphics last?
Heavy-duty vinyl on plant machinery typically lasts three to five years on machines that work hard — daily site use, regular jet-washing and full-sun exposure. Lower-use machines or stored kit can run six to seven years. We can spec a heavier laminate film on machines that live in harsher conditions (forestry, demolition, marine) for an extra 18–24 months of life.
Can you fit graphics on-site?
Yes — we routinely install on customer yards, depots and active sites. We arrive with cleaning kit, ladders, generator power and everything else needed for a fit, and we work around your operations so machines come off the job for two to four hours, not a full day. We need shelter from rain and direct strong sun for the install to bond properly.
Can you do asset numbers and hire fleet ID?
Yes — asset numbering is a core part of plant fleet branding. We design a numbering system that matches your asset register (or set one up), apply consistent placement so numbers are visible from across a yard, and use heavy-duty vinyl that survives daily handling. We can reprint replacement decals when machines come back from hire damaged.
What safety markings can you supply?
We supply reflective hi-vis chevrons, hazard-warning decals (load weights, swing radius, height clearance), CE plates, operator-only markings and Chapter 8 chevron kits for plant working on highways. Send the machine type and what compliance you need to meet, and we'll suggest the right marking package — and tell you if a sign rather than a decal is the right call.
