Full Wraps by V Signs

  • Colour change, matte, satin, metallic, carbon fibre and custom-print wraps
  • Heavy-duty vinyl that protects original paintwork and lasts five to seven years
  • Installed by experts across Hampshire, Surrey & Central London
  • Great for private cars, performance builds, fleet rebrands and show vehicles

Change your car's colour, protect the paint or rebrand a vehicle with professionally designed full wraps. At V Signs, we cover the entire vehicle — bumper to bumper — in heavy-duty vinyl: colour change, matte and satin finishes, paint protection, specialty textures and show-car builds.

A full wrap is the most powerful way to change how a vehicle looks without a respray. We fit matte, satin, gloss, metallic, carbon fibre and custom prints — from a clean colour change on a Tesla to a competition livery on a track car. The wrap protects original paintwork and lifts cleanly when you sell.

We've wrapped private cars, fleet vehicles and performance builds across Petersfield, Farnham, Woking, Winchester, Godalming, and Central London — at our Hampshire workshop or your premises.

Every wrap runs in-house — design, print, fit and finish — so the colour matches the proof, panels align, and the finish lasts five to seven years.

FAQ

Good to know

How much does a full vehicle wrap cost?

Full vehicle wraps typically run £1,800–£3,500 for a standard car or van; specialty finishes (chrome, brushed metallic, multi-layer effects) and larger vehicles can push £4,000–£6,000+. The biggest cost driver is finish complexity, not just size — a matte black on a Golf costs less than a chrome wrap on the same car. Send your vehicle make, model and the finish you're after, and we'll quote within a working day.

Wrap or respray — which one should I get?

Wraps win for most owners. A full wrap costs less than half of a quality respray, takes three to five days vs three to four weeks, and reverses cleanly when you sell — the original paintwork stays untouched underneath, which protects resale value. A respray makes sense only if the original paint is already damaged or you want a permanent change with paint-only finishes that vinyl can't replicate.

How long does a full wrap last and does it damage the paint?

A professionally fitted wrap lasts five to seven years on a daily-use car, longer on garage-kept cars. The wrap protects the paintwork underneath from chips, UV fade and minor scuffs. When fitted to original factory paint, it removes cleanly years later with no damage. We don't recommend wrapping over recent re-sprays, painted-over filler, or rusty panels — we'll inspect before quoting and tell you honestly.

How do I look after a wrapped car?

Wrap care is simpler than people expect. Hand-wash with a non-abrasive shampoo, avoid jet-washing seams at point-blank range, don't use solvent-based cleaners on matte finishes, and don't run a wrapped car through a high-pressure brush wash. We hand over a one-page care sheet with every wrap and answer maintenance questions for the life of the wrap.

Can you wrap a Tesla, EV or specialty vehicle?

Yes — Teslas and other EVs are some of our most-wrapped cars. EV body panels (often plastic in places) and the matte/satin finishes Tesla owners typically want both call for careful surface prep, but it's standard work. We've wrapped Model 3, Model Y, Model S, plus a range of other EVs and specialty vehicles.

How long does the wrap process take?

Most full wraps run three to five days from drop-off to handover. The first day is deep clean, panel-edge prep and trim removal; days two and three are application; day four is post-fit checks, edge sealing and cure. Specialty finishes and full disassembly wraps (door cards out, badges off, mirrors stripped) can run 5–8 days. We hold the car secure throughout — workshop, not on-street.
