Tippers & Trailers by V Signs

  • Graphics for tippers, curtainsiders, drag trailers and rigid bodies
  • Heavy-duty vinyl rated for load scrapes, jet-washing and motorway miles
  • Installed by experts across Hampshire, Surrey & Central London
  • Great for hauliers, contractors, aggregates operators and groundworks fleets

Brand your fleet of working trailers with professionally designed tipper and trailer graphics. At V Signs, we design, print and fit graphics, fleet ID and safety markings on tippers, curtainsiders, drag trailers and rigid bodies — built to survive load scrapes, jet-washing and motorway miles.

Tipper and trailer graphics take abuse no van ever sees — load scrapes from aggregates, daily jet-washing and motorway grit. We use heavy-duty vinyl applied to side panels, rear doors and curtain panels, with reflective Chapter 8 chevrons for fleets working on highway sites.

We've branded tipper and trailer fleets for hauliers, contractors and aggregates operators across Petersfield, Farnham, Woking, Winchester, Godalming, and Central London — fitted at our Hampshire HQ or on your yard.

Every project runs in-house — design, print and fit — so colours match your cab branding, the artwork sits straight on every panel, and the finish lasts.

FAQ

Good to know

How much do tipper and trailer graphics cost?

Tipper and trailer graphics typically run between £350 and £1,800 per vehicle, depending on coverage, complexity and whether reflective Chapter 8 chevrons are included. Multi-vehicle fleets get scale pricing — the second and third trailers cost less than the first. Send through your fleet list, what you want fitted, and any artwork, and we'll quote within a working day.

Will the graphics survive jet-washing and load scrapes?

Yes — within reason. Heavy-duty vinyl handles daily jet-washing at standard pressure (under 1,500psi at six inches) and tolerates the everyday scuffs from aggregates, but a direct hit from a mini-digger bucket will damage anything. We can replace individual panels at fleet rates, so you don't repaint the whole trailer when one section gets battered.

How long do tipper and trailer graphics last?

Five to seven years on a daily-use trailer, depending on how clean the kit gets washed and how much sun it lives in. South-facing yards and constant motorway miles wear graphics faster than overnight indoor stabling. We can spec a heavier laminate film for high-mileage hauliers that adds 18–24 months of life.

Do I need Chapter 8 chevrons on my tippers?

Chapter 8 chevrons are mandatory for vehicles working on the highway under traffic management — typically council, utility and highway maintenance fleets. Construction tippers running site-to-site usually don't need them legally, but many fleets fit them anyway as a safety standard. We design and fit Chapter 8 kits to specification — red/yellow chevrons, fluorescent yellow strips and reflective rear markings.

Can you fit graphics across a multi-trailer fleet?

Yes — we routinely fit fleets of five to twenty-plus trailers, scheduled across days or weeks so you keep enough vehicles on the road. Most rollouts run in waves of three to four trailers per visit, fitted at our Hampshire workshop or your yard, with consistent placement so the fleet looks uniform from any angle.

Can you do fleet ID numbers and asset tracking decals?

Yes — fleet ID numbering is standard on tipper and trailer work. We design a numbering convention that matches your existing register or set one up, apply consistent placement so numbers are visible from a yard distance, and use heavy-duty vinyl that survives daily handling. Replacement decals reprint from your file when a trailer comes back battered.
